Safety at work is a key issue for Rüdiger Albrecht; he knows all too well how quickly something can happen on a roof and what the legal consequences of accidents involving falls might be. So he works closely together with the local contacts of his mutual indemnity association, the “BG ETEM”.
In 2009, Rüdiger Albrecht bought the first 12 metres of the RSS sloping roof system to make his construction sites safer and more flexible. “With RSS I can react quickly without having to wait ages for the scaffolding builders”, says Rüdiger Albrecht. “The sloping roof system from RSS can be built up so quickly that installing it is worthwhile for both small and large construction sites; and especially important is the fact that anyone can and may install it. Apart from that, thanks to RSS I can calculate costs for safety at work that are much lower than my competitors’.”
Meanwhile, Albrecht has more than 80 metres of the RSS sloping roof system at its disposal and uses the GS-certified fall protection system on changing sites. With the help of a wind-permeable advertising sign that Rüdiger Albrecht attached to the RSS system, he recently won yet another order for a 150 KW system. Albrecht is now looking forward to the dedication ceremony for the systems recently installed, to which prominent personalities from politics and industry have been invited.
