The Dutch roofing company Troelstra & de Vries, founded in 1930, became part of the international SOPREMA Group in 2007. The acquisition gave the company access to a broader product range and expertise in the field of waterproofing and insulation. Since October 1, 2016, the Dutch branch has been operating under the name SOPREMA BV.
