ALWAYS REFER TO THE MANUAL FIRST BEFORE USE
Our manuals are available in many languages. It is essential that before you start to assemble our systems, you always read the manual first and strictly follow the instructions in it. Failure to follow the manual correctly can lead to serious accidents.
This should always be assessed on site. A zinc box or mast gutter with sufficient gutter brackets (every 60 cm and fixed in healthy wood) is usually a strong gutter. Gutters made of plastic or synthetic material are definitely not. The rule of thumb that you can use: you should be able to stand in the gutter. If the gutter is questionable or bad, the system can still be installed, provided that the RSS base plate is also used.
This is only possible when using the RSS base plate.
Yes, to apply the system to a flat roof, there must be a raised edge of at least 6 cm behind which the upright can hook. In addition, the round plate of the upright must be able to rest against a hard material, such as a wall or facade.
National legislation applies here. Usually you are required to take safety measures from a standing height of 2.5 meters. Think of a harness or other individual safety measures. The system can also be built up with a cherry picker or lift.
The system can be used as long as the maximum wind force is observed, see the manual. To make the system more stable, an accessory can be used: the RSS wind protection.
